Save the Dates
Save the Dates are a great way to let your friends and family plan in advance for your big day! It can be a simple postcard or an elaborate itinerary. Personalize it and make it special to set the tone of your wedding. Add a picture, map or illustration using the colors of your event.
In the past, wedding invitations were a simple folded sheet of ecru or white paper with formal cursive script. Today, anything goes! We have designers on staff to help you bring your vision to life. Paper Place will work with your budget and time frame. To make the design process even easier we provide in house printing. Paper Place has many different papers, envelopes, enclosures and embellishments to create the invitation of your dreams.
Programs can be a simple card or can be as elaborate as a fan or booklet. They introduce your wedding party as well as honor special people. It is a great way to explain wedding traditions or rituals. It lets guests know what's coming next, from ceremony songs to readings. You may also include a photo, quotes and song lyrics. The creative staff at Paper Place can help you design a ceremony program that tells your story. Our in house printing department can print those last-minute changes.
Your reception signage, including table cards, is where you can really let your creativity shine through. Rather than the traditional numbered tent card, modern couples are often inspired to use special moments, places or even their favorite bands as table names.
Your guests may also find menu cards at their place settings. As the name suggests, menu cards list the menu items being served. If wine is being served, the wines are listed along side their appropriate courses. Menu cards should complement the place cards. We can help you create a menu that places the finishing touch, whether it is a slim card to slide in a folded napkin, or a square or die cut to set on the plate.
Escort cards are efficient tools for directing your guests to their appointed seats. Placed in the entryway to the reception hall, the envelopes have your guests' names written on them. Inside the envelope, the card has the appropriate table number (or name!) written on it. When it is time to be seated, the guests open the envelope with their names on it and head to the table indicated on the card. You may choose to put your escort cards in a fun patterned envelope for that extra pop of color. Our in-house printing department can personalize each one.
After all is said and done and you have opened your gifts, it is a must to send a handwritten note to thank your friends and family. In addition to conveying your appreciation, thank-you notes also let the recipients know that the gifts they sent were received and not lost in transit. They should be sent out as soon after the wedding as possible. Your thank-you note will seem more sincere if it is sent in a timely matter. Once again, this can all coordinate with the "theme" of your wedding. We can add a modern twist to your notes with a photo.
Place cards are typically a 2"x3"-size tent card, printed or handwritten with each guest's name, and they are generally reserved for more formal seated dinner receptions. One way to maximize the usefulness of the place card is to select 2 or 3 colors to indicate each guest's entree choice to the catering staff. They, too, can be coordinated with your colors and theme.
